There are a lot of amenities that you can purchase when you’re traveling with TUI. Whether you’re looking to snag a drink or some snacks, you’ll need to have digital payment ready. TUI does not accept cash or checks for payment.
What Payment Can I Use?
At this time, you can only use cashless payments when you purchase amenities from TUI in flight. This includes:
- Visa
- Mastercard
- Bancontact
- Apple Pay
- Google Pay
You can pay by card or by mobile device, making it seamless, easy, and convenient when you’re ready to check out. You never have to worry about running low on cash or going without again as long as you have these cashless options.
At this time, you cannot use Revolut, prepaid cards, or American Express. It’s best to check with TUI prior to traveling to ensure that your card will work while traveling with them.
Is it Safe to Pay By Card or Mobile Device?
Cashless payments are the future, so most airlines only accept digital payments to stay frictionless. It also allows them to more quickly process payments and move on to the next without needing to get change.
It is completely safe to pay by your card when you are traveling with TUI. Just make sure that you notify your bank that you are traveling less your card gets flagged for fraud and frozen. Without WiFi on board, you’ll need to wait until you land to fix the problem.
Just because you can’t pay with cash doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy all TUI has to offer.
