Air France does its best to accommodate meal requests when you are traveling with them, so if you have dietary restrictions, you’ll need to notify them so they can make accommodations. If you need to change your meal preferences, you need to do so at least 24-48 hours in advance.

Special Meals

When you booked your ticket, you should have been able to indicate your meal preference if there was in-flight service. If you want to change this, log into your account and select review/modify your bookings. Keep in mind this feature is available up to 24 hours before your flight. You can also contact customer service to make the change for you.

Air France accommodates many different dietary restrictions, including allergen-free, gastric irritant-free, low-sugar, gluten-free, low-salt, vegan, vegetarian, halal, and kosher meals. If your specific dietary needs are not available, contact customer service to see what options they have for you. You may simply need to bring your own food to be safe.

Are Meals Included?

Meals are included if you are flying on a long-haul flight. You will be able to select the service during the booking process. If it is not an option, there is no dinner on your flight. Depending on the length of the flight, you will still have drinks and snack service.

It is easy to change your meal preference with Air France. Simply log into your account and modify your selection. If it is closed, you may be able to work with customer service to make a change. It is best to finalize your selections no more than 24 hours before your flight.
