Wizz Air lets you pick your seats, but only if you pay a small fee. Here’s all you need to know to ensure you and your travel companions are able to sit together.

Choosing Seats on Wizz Air

Unless you pay a fee, there is no guarantee that you will be sitting with other members of your party, even if you booked the tickets together. There are two ways you can approach needing to sit together on Wizz Air flight. First, you can pre-purchase your seats. Wizz Air’s seats are allocated upon check-in, so there’s a good chance that you may not be seated together. You can pre-purchase your seats during or after booking online, via the mobile app, or by calling customer service.

You may also purchase something called Sitting Together during booking, which is only available when you are making reservations with at least two adult passengers. This add-on does not allow you to choose the exact seats you will be sitting in; however, it does guarantee that you will be seated together during the duration of your trip. If you make adjustments to your plans, Sitting Together will carry over to your new fare.

Wizz Air does not automatically allocate seats together, even if they are part of the same reservation. If you want to guarantee that you will be sitting next to someone, it’s best to pre-purchase your seats so there is no confusion. It is an extra fee, but it’s worth it if you want to make sure you can sit next to your travel companion.
