Sometimes your plans change, so you need to cancel your trip. It can be a little confusing to do so when you’re flying with TUI. However, as long as you are eligible to get a refund, you should receive your refund within 7-10 days if you paid online. If you paid by cash or check, it could take up to 20 days to receive a refund.
Not all plane tickets are eligible for a refund, so it’s important to check your fare prior to requesting a refund.
Refund Eligibility
You can cancel your fare free of charge up to 24 hours after you made the booking or if you booked up to 7 days before your flight, regardless of the type of ticket you purchased. If your fare was nonrefundable, then you are not eligible for a refund outside of these conditions.
If you purchased TUI Flex, then you can cancel your flight up to 28 days prior to your departure date without a fee. Otherwise, you may need to pay a cancellation fee in order to cancel.
You can request a refund on the website by retrieving your booking and selecting refund from the list. Once you enter your information, you should receive your refund in up to 20 days, depending on the method you used to pay.
