Wizz Air lets you pick your seat, but it will cost you, depending on your fare. Here’s all you need to know about seat selection for your next Wizz Air Flight.

Can I Choose My Seat?

There are two options when it comes to where you’ll sit when traveling with Wizz Air on a basic fare. First, you can pay a fee when you are booking to choose your seat during the booking process. This ensures you get the seat you want when you are flying.

If you don’t, then you automatically will be assigned a seat when you check in 48 hours before your flight. If you want extra legroom, you will need to pay for premium seats to be seated in the exit row during your flight.

If you are travelling with a family or group, the only way to guarantee that you will be seated together is if you pre-purchase seats. Otherwise, you may be separated during the check-in process, even if you booked together.

Wizz Go and Wizz Plus

You will be able to book your seat for free if you purchased a Wizz Go or Wizz Plus bundle. As you go through the registration process, simply select the seat you want. It will be yours upon check in.

Wizz Air basic fares need to pay to select a seat during booking. Otherwise, you will be automatically seated upon check-in 48 hours prior to your flight. If you need to sit together with your party, especially families, Wizz Air recommends that you purchase your seats in advance.
